I have been hesitant to try poke from a food cart after a bad experience in portland but I'm glad I did. I got my bowl came home devoured it and had to go on here to leave a review. Fresh, crunchy,tasty, lots of flavor and variety. I could rave on but it's a 10/10 for me I will definitely be back and soon. “ I used to drive 25 mins for a poke bowl and I'm so glad I don't have to anymore. This is one of my favorite stations in the Hillsboro food carts, lots of add ons, great taste, fish does taste fresh, and decent price. Only thing is when I've been there there seems to be only 1 worker so if you have other orders ahead of you, you may be waiting for a few minutes. Also would LOVE to see mango added to the menus but that's just a personal preference. highly recommend. ”

“ Our first foray into the new Hillsboro Downtown Station food truck pod! Lots of options. We settled on poke. My husband and I both chose the Sensei Bowl. I had the fresh greens base while Hubs had the rice. Pleasantly surprised by the features of these bowls. We were both expecting 1/2 or 2/3 base. No, sir! Maybe 1/3 base at most! Amazing amount of poke, very fresh and tender. Seaweed salad, sesame seeds, furikake (seasoned dried seaweed sprinkles) avocado, fresh greens, er, think I forgot a few items even. Check the menu! It made for a beautifully seasoned mix with poke salmon or tuna in every bite. An amazing amount of very fresh fish! I felt like a character in a Biblical tale as the more I ate (see photos), the more fish was revealed. A true miracle --- right in the middle of downtown Hillsboro! Another miracle was the price of $15 for a regular and $16 for the large. An unbelievable bargain for the high quality of the ingredients. Service was great. She said five minutes and that's what it was. Tons of seating in the Hillsboro Downtown Station eating pavilion, nice big picnic tables. Maybe 30 beers on tap. Large TV screens are mounted high enough so they aren't intrusive. I didn't realize Fresh Fish is a chain until I started this review. Kind of glad or I might have passed it up as I avoid chains like the plague. Truly one of the best, most balanced, filled-with-goodies and flavorful poke bowls I have ever enjoyed. Loved it! ”
